Considering the importance of Urdu Calligraphy, the Akademi has established training schools for teaching this dying art. This art provides the means of livelihood to a large number of Urdu knowing people.

One of these Schools is housed in the Akademi premises. Another school meant for ladies only is functioning at Akademi Campus, old city of Lucknow.

Third calligraphy school is run in Hamida Girls Degree College, Allahabad.
